HOCKEY: Bann to face Pembroke in Senior Cup semi-final

Banbridge Hockey Club men’s first team have been drawn against Pembroke Wanderers in the semi-final of the Irish Senior Cup.

In the other semi, Cork Church of Ireland take on Railway Union.

The finals weekend will take place at UCD on 28/29 March.

Bann are looking to win the trophy for the 10th time and the first in 29 years.

Semi-final opponents Pembroke are currently second in the Leinster League and last won the Cup in 2009.
