Rink 1: This rink scored two shots on the first end but failed to score again until the 14th end. They appeared to have great difficulty in playing the green as it is not as good as it should be but both teams struggled. Bann lost 11-22.

Rink 2: Scoring a five on the fifth end gave the locals a four shot advantage at five ends, 7-3. They only scored once more during the following seven ends and were down by one shot after 11 ends. Jackie Scott’s rink clicked into gear, scoring 3, 1, 1, 3, 2, 4, 1, 5. This totally destroyed the opposition and Bann won the point 29-13.

Rink 3: This rink were playing good drawing bowls as Frank Dolan, Paul McClatchy and Nigel Hamilton were playing outdoor bowls after four years. Skip Mark Campbell was forced to play with weight, trying to stem the shots against him at each head. He was fortunate a few times but it was no contest as Bann ran out 37-14 winners.

Rink 4: Bann led by two shots as after five ends they led by two shots. After 14 ends that lead was maintained and then they started to pull away, losing just one end over the last seven to win 24-12 in a good performance.
