Good run continues

BANBRIDGE Town U13s continued their good run by defeating Belfast side Ridgeway in the Lisburn Invitational league.

Town had most of the early possession and went ahead through Aaron Thompson who broke down the right and unleashed a fierce shot high into the net.

Banbridge went further ahead soon afterwards when a Kyle Thompson corner was diverted into the net by a Ridgeway player at the near post.

Midfielder Michael Colfer then tested the Ridgeway keeper with a fine shot from the edge of the box.

After the interval, Ridgeway remained a threat but Town keeper Calum Adamson was equal to the task, showing good handling and positioning.
