Yvonne is the overall winner at Robena’s Captain’s Day

There was celebration and excitement around the Golf Club as the ladies of Banbridge Golf Club played at Lady Captain’s Day which was held on Saturday June 29.

Lady Captain Robena McCandless had pulled out all the stops and left no stone unturned in ensuring that the members and her guests had a fabulous day and evening.

The evening celebrations saw the presentation of the Lady Captain’s beautiful prizes. Many tales of “if only I could have...” or “If I hadn’t done..“ were heard reverberating around the clubhouse, however none of that was the case for the lucky winners.

The lady members of Banbridge Golf Club would like to express their sincere congratulations to the Lady Captain Robena for a fabulous year.

Last week also saw the ladies play the Daisy Ferguson greensomes, the winners of which progress to play in the Finals which are held at Royal Co Down Ladies Golf Club in August. This year’s representatives from Banbridge will be Ann Blevins and Susan Magennis. Runners up were Ann Mairs and Gina McConville. Rosemary Cocks was the winner of the Pink Ladies last week, with the monthly winner being Pat McCartan. Congratulations to all the prize winners.
