Whan girls are number one

Last Tuesday, the Banbridge ladies played in the LGU Peugeot Coronation Foursomes with the Whan girls coming up trumps.

Winners were Melissa and Megan Whan with a score of 38 points while the runner up place went to Karen Heslip and Susan Magennis with a score of 34 points.

The beautiful prizes this week were sponsored by Mary Dooher, Vivian Faulkner, Wendy Todd and Eileen Mayne.

Two ladies had twos: Liz Ramsey and Lorna McKinstry on the 8th.

The ladies were privileged to have the new Lyric Group visit the club last Saturday. They sang songs from the Shows finishing the first half with a selection of songs from Les Miserables, all acted and preformed as well as anything you could see in the West End. It was a fantastic concert so if you missed it this time make sure to catch them in Autumn when they hope to be back. Thanks to all those who helped in the organization and to all who contributed to the raffle.
