Ladies Autumn League passes halfway point

The Ladies Bin66 Autumn league has passed the half way stage. Team Nike under the sound leadership of Denise Nelson have stretched their lead to 17 points and with only three weeks left may be difficult to catch.

Team Bridgestone with 308 points have moved into second place and Team Taylor Made have dropped to 3rd.

This weeks outstanding individual score off 22 points was was posted by Lorna McKinstry. No one came near to that and Lorna easily captured the Section B prize.

Susan Magennis with 17 points, again recorded the best score of Section A and Vivian Faulkner with 19 points was the clear winner of Section C.

The standings and points of the Teams are as follows;

In first place with 325 points are Team Nike captained by Denise Nelson, in second place with 308 points are Team Bridgestone captained by Mildred Hodgett and in 3rd place with 305 points are Team Taylor Made captained by the Lady Vice Captain Ann Magennis.

In 4th with 304 points is Team Pinnacle captained by Susan Magennis, in 5th with 302 points is Team Calloway captained by Joy Gowdy and in joint 6th with 300 points are Team Titleist captained by Mary Longmore and Team Srixon captained by Marlene Nelson.

A bad run of team form this week resulted in Team Wilson Staff captained by Denise McBrien slip into the wooden spoon spot but you can be sure these ladies will come out fighting to overturn this next week.
