Improve your golf at Lurgan’sstate-of-the art academy

Lurgan golfers have no excuse for bad days on the course now.

Your game can now be finally tuned at the Lurgan Golf Club highly acclaimed practice facilities, which are available for use by both club members and non-members, earlier this year.

Featuring a 185 yard range with 12 bays, as well as a short game practice facility, they have all the tools that local golfers, both adult and juveniles playing at all levels of the sport, need to improve their games.

The club’s facilities have been recognised as state of the art, having been named as one of the ILGU and GUI Centres of Excellence, where future Irish golfing stars can be identified and those same practice areas are open to everyone seven days a week.

The club is also using the new range, located beside the clubhouse in the Demesne, to serve local schools, youth clubs and local community groups.

The facilities have been kitted out with top quality equipment from mats, balls and the range lighting to the latest teaching aids for use in lessons with resident PGA Professional Peter Hanna and Trainee Professional Zoe Allen.

Their expert tuition is available with the use of the CG2 launch monitor, as used on Sky’s Golf Channel, and the V1 digital camera teaching system to help identify those swing problems.
