Colin is victorious in McCandless Rose Bowl at Lisburn

An eagle three at the 14th helped Lisburn’s Colin Sweet (9) to victory in the McCandless Rose Bowl.

His 68 was one stroke ahead of Ronnie McCully (15) and Robert MacKinnon (13) Ronnie’s better finish gave him second place.

Ryan Symington started with an eagle three to win the best gross round with a 72. Richard McDermott was the only competitor to register two birdie twos.

Wednesday Stableford

Steven Harper had a hole in one in the Wednesday Stableford. He used an eight iron at the sixth. Ian Suffern (11) was the winner with 23 pts. Three players tied for second place: David McCallister (8), Glenn Waring (11) and Michael Glover (23). David was awarded second place ahead of Glenn.
