Golf Classic is launched

THE Down GAA Senior Training Fund in conjunction with Club Down launched it's upcoming Golf Classic at Spa Golf Course.

The idyllic course will be the setting for the competition which will take place on Sunday September 12. It is hoped that Gaels throughout the county will attend the Classic and support the county as it embarks upon its sixth All Ireland Final the following week.

Down County chairman Seamus Walsh, Down PRO and members of Club Down were present at the launch alongside Spa Club President Pat Savage, Club Captain Raymond Holmes, Lady President Kathleen McEvoy and Lady Captain Maureen Hanna.
