Garvey qualify for Cup finale

Lisnagarvey qualified for the final stages of the Anderson Cup competition when they came through the Section matches at Mossley last Friday night.

They defeated both North Down and Bangor and drew with host club Mossley and that was enough to take them to Banbridge this Saturday for the finale to the Ulster hockey season.

The young team which played at Mossley did themselves no harm for next season with some fine free scoring hockey and they will be looking forward to taking on the other three qualifiers, Banbridge, Cookstown and Instonians.
