BANBRIDGE Town U9s played two games at the Brownstown IFA Development Centre on Saturday playing two games.

In the first game they drew 1-1 with Portadown who came out of the blocks fast scoring an early breakaway goal.

Josh Kerr tested the Rovers keeper early on with Taylor Hill also have a great effort saved. At the back Toby Jones had another great performance in goals with Alex Innocenzi and Bobby Jones very reliable in the last line of defence.

Harry Annett struck the base of the post witha shot on the turn and then the same player set up Daniel McGivern to score witha low shot.

The same combination of players led to the second goal when Annett`s corner fell to McGivern to tap home to make it 2-0.
