U17s win with single goal but could have scored a lot more

Town Juniors Under-17s took all three points against Sunnyside with only a goal in it but it could have been a lot more.

Decky Loy, Jordan Hayes and Adam Dennison all had great shots saved by the Sunnyside ‘keeper and another great attack by the Juniors saw Ryan Williamson link up with Loy and Ryan’s shot forced the ‘keeper into another fine save.

In the second half it was more of the same with Williamson unlucky with a header from a David Gray corner and Decky Loy saw another effort saved when he latched on to a good cutback from Adam Dennison.

Town finally got the breakthrough in the 55th minute when Adam Dennison played a great ball to Dylan Martin who crossed in to Declan Loy who managed to scrape it past the advancing keeper.

In the end Banbridge were happy with the three points.
