Two draws for the Town’s U10s at the Development Centre

Banbridge Town Juniors U10s continued their Development games on Saturday and came away with two draws after another two fine displays.

In the first game there wasnt much between the two sides as Lee Whitten and Bobby Jones were both having excellent games in defence and were dealing well with every attack. Halfway through the game Banbridge fell behind with the opposing striker giving Kyle Bradford no chance in the Banbridge goal.

Banbridge’s midfield was starting to get more into the game with Josh Noble and Jack Murray both having good games. Banbridge soon were on level terms when Patrick McGrath’s inviting cross was pounced on by Adam Hamilton who scored at the back post to earn his side a draw.

In the second game it was a very attacking game with both sides starting brightly and Banbridge were soon behind but they responded well with Josh Noble leveling with a calm finish then Adam Hamilton giving them the lead when he raced clear before finding the bottom corner, again the midfield was in fine form with Finn Martin adding some bite in the middle of the park.

Banbridge then conceded two quick goals to fall behind but all credit to Banbridge who never gave up and they leveled near the end when another Patrick McGrath cross was cleared to Josh Noble who fired home from the edge of the area to earn Banbridge a draw.

This was a fantastic display by the Town Juniors who showed great determination and attitude in both games.
