Town’s pre-season and league fixtures announced

Cliftonville, Ards and Dundalk will all visit Crystal Park this summer before Banbridge Town begin their league campaign at home to Glebe Rangers.

The club’s pre-season and Championship Two fixtures have been released, those three visits the home highlights of the summer friendlies.

Their pre-season fixtures begin on July 9th with the league season kicking off on 8th August.

They begin the Championship Two season with three home matches in their first four outings as Glebe Rangers visit Crystal Park on the opening day, Saturday 8th August.

Town then travel to face last season’s third placed side Limavady United before returning home to take on Tobermore and Sport & Leisure Swifts.

Town’s two local derby fixtures against Dollingstown will take palce on 19th December at Planter’s Park and 26th March at Crystal Park.

Ryan Watson’s men, meanwhile, are at home in their first game of 2016, hosting Coagh United on Saturday 2nd January.

They wait until November to first text the mettle against the two sides relegated from Championship One last season, travelling to PSNI on the 7th and hosting Dundela on the 28th.

It’s a big season for the club, who are hoping to push further up the table than last season’s 11th placed finish.
