After 30 minutes Willowbank managed to finally break the deadlock, scoring with ease after some hesitancy from the Town back four.

The final ten minutes of the half saw the Town exert pressure but could not make the breakthrough.

On the restart, Duffin managed to break down the right wing, waltz through two defenders and finish clinically to the bottom corner to bring the sides level.

The Juniors were forced to continue the match with ten players as Fearon went off injured but no-one would have noticed as McKibbon then dazzled the Willowbank left back before cutting inside and finishing with his left foot to put the Town 2-1 up.

Willowbank now were forced to move up a gear and rallied to score twice and go 3-2 up, although Town felt the third goal was offside.

Town however, showed their fighting spirit once again and McKibbon fired in a shot that thundered down off the crossbar. Town felt it was over the line but the referee didn’t agree and, to rub salt in the wound, Willowbank went on to bag a fourth.
