The club are at the foot of Championship Two and with four / five teams set to drop through the trap-door, supporters could be forgiven for becoming concerned.

Ahead of Saturday’s all-important clash with Portstewart at Crystal Park (kick-off 3pm) though, Moffatt says the tide will soon turn.

“We know 100 per cent things will come good and everything will be good come the end of the season. We just need to get that first three points,” he said.

“Inside the camp, things have been very positive. We all believe in ourselves. It’s been a tough start but we know everything will be fine.”

Saturday’s opponents Portstewart are three places and just three points ahead of Town, meaning Saturday’s game could be the kick-start Town need.

Moffatt is calling on the club’s support to help the side to a vital victory in what is turning out to be a massive game.

“The fans have been very good all season so hopefully they will turn out in good numbers again on Saturday,” he said.
