Banbridge Town have completed the signing of a former Linfield and Glenavon winger while a former player is back in the fold.
Stuart King has signed as player / coach from Ballyclare Comrades and Matty McCartan has returned from Canada to slot straight back into the squad.
Now living in Banbridge, 34 year-old King isn’t in line to play in Saturday’s home game against Coagh United and will be Cup-tied for the club’s Irish Cup game against Carrick Rangers on Saturday 9th January.
He could make his debut for the club at Wakehurst a week later.
After beginning his career across the water, King played for Linfield for four seasons before transferring to Ballymena United and on to Glenavon.
He frequently caught the eye with dazzling left-wing performances.
King dropped down to the Championship in 2013 with Larne before joining up with new boss David Dorrian at Ballyclare.
