They’re off to take on bottom of the table Ballymoney United looking for their first win in seven Championship Two games (kick-off 3pm). Their poor run of form culminated in Saturday’s 8-0 thrashing at the hands of Tobermore United.

They’ll scarcely get a better chance to get a much-needed victory.

Ballymoney have picked up just four points all season and have gained just a single point in their last 10 league outings.

Neither side then, could be accused of going into this one in good form. It really is a must-win for Banbridge Town.

BANBRIDGE RANGERS

On Saturday, Rangers are on the road as well. They travel to take on Lower Maze in Intermediate A (kick-off 2.15pm) and will fancy their chances. They’re 17 points ahead of their opponents, who have lost their last seven league outings.

Rangers, meanwhile, have been beaten just once in their last nine in all competitions.

The Cloney travel to Hillsborough boys on Saturday (kick-off 2.15pm) still hoping to catch Moira Albion and Union Lusa, who are five and six points ahead of Division Three’s bottom side respectively.

BANBRIDGE YCOB

In Division Four of the Mid-Ulster Football League, Banbridge YCOB have a tough fixture on Saturday as they travel to second placed Caledon Rovers (kick-off 2.15pm).

RATHFRILAND RANGERS

Rathfriland Rangers will look to continue their return to form on Saturday as they host Larne Tech OB (kick-off 2pm). If they can muster another three points, it will be five wins in a row for the locals, who had been languishing at the foot of the table.

A win would lift them within a point of their opponents in 10th spot.
