This Saturday it’s first plays third as Rangers are away to East Belfast in a real top of the table clash in Belfast. The home side have catipulted themelves into the top three and sit just six points behind Rangers with one game in hand so this Saturday’s clash is the proverbial six pointer for Rathfriland. Interesting Division 1A tie with a 2pm kick off.

This Saturday the Colts travel to Ballyvea III’s in the McCalls Division 3 Newcastle League fixture. The Kilkeel team are sitting well down the table so Robbie Keowns’ boys will be firm favourites to stay at the summit of the league table. Kick off at Carnigagh Road 2pm.

APRIL COMMITTEE MEETING

The April committee meeting will take place at the clubrooms Tuesday 19th April at 7pm.

MASSIVE DIVISION 1A FIXTURE LOOMING THIS WEEKEND

Rangers are currently sitting top of the Division 1A league although a massive encounter away at East Belfast looms on the horizion this weekend 2nd April. This is a real 6 pointer for “The Whites” who were defeated three weeks ago by the Belfast side in Rathfriland and with games in hand now sit in the top three. Mark the diaries for a massive Division 1A fixture.

CLUB NIGHT

A big thankyou to all who supported Saturday night with Kerry McMullan at the clubrooms. This was a great night for players, officials, supporters and sponsors and a big thankyou to all who helped out in any way.

SPONSORS DAY

Sponsors Day this season will take place at the club on Saturday 30th April. More details to follow.

The Rathfriland FC annual dinner dance and awards night will be held in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry on Saturday 28th May.

RATHFRILAND FC YOUTH TRAINING

Rathfriland FC Youth training is currently being held at Rathfriland High School 3G. U6 TO U10 Monday 7 - 8pm. U17 to U19 Monday 8 to 9pm. U11 to U13 Wednesday 7 - 8pm. U14 and U15 8-9pm Wednesday.
