Coaches Nicky Ireland and Tommy Hawthorne took ten young players to the tournament which sees teams from around the world compete at various age groups.

The Under 9s took part in five games against teams from France, Spain, Guadeloupe and Scotland over the Saturday and Sunday.

The large party of players, coaches, family and club members stayed in the holiday resort of Salou and had access to the Portaventura Theme Park.

On the final day of their trip the players got to experience the Nou Camp with a guided tour of Barcelona’s impressive home stadium.

There have been trips organised four years in a row to allow kids from the local area to gain an extraordinary experience.

If you would like your child to join one of their ten youth teams then please check out training times and venues through the clubs facebook page.
