Visitors Gilford emerged victorious from this midweek derby duel at Scarva Park.

The two reserve teams had met earlier in the year when Gilford recorded a comprehensive win.

This was a much more evenly balanced affair and over the course of 90 minutes a vastly improved Scarva side appeared good value for a share of the spoils.

The visitors struck first, but Scarva were back on level terms through Alex Hammond.

Danny Cullen then confidently converted from the spot to leave the sides 2-2 at the interval.

Early in the second half Scarva took the lead for the first time as Wes Baird fired home. However, Gilford began their comeback to win.
