Rare scoreless draw for Scarva

GOALLESS games are a rarity in the divisions of the Mid-Ulster League.

After 90 minutes of Saturday’s Division Two clash at Scarva Park, however, neither Scarva Rangers nor Armagh Celtic could find the net.

On the plus side for Scarva Rangers manager Mo Brown was the clean sheet his side kept.

Douglas almost broke the deadlock but his headed effort from a corner sailed just over the bar.

McCammon embarked on a surging run down the left and pulled the ball back precisely for Stephen Hendron but his shot was wide of the target.
