Group B of the U9’s saw each of the three teams playing twice meaning six fixtures in total.

Banbridge Rangers saw off Lisburn Youth in their semi final after Ireland scored twice.

Windmill would have been slight favourites but a fired up Gers side scored twice early in the second half through Scott Swindell and a Lee Cartmill free kick. Despite a late rally from Windmill it finished 2-1 with Banbridge Rangers Ben Noble lifting the Cup.

Banbridge Rangers were celebrating their second success out of the seven available competitions when the Under 12s won their section.

A group comprising of the hosts, Annalong Rovers, Tandragee Rovers and Oxford Sunnyside saw the Gers come out on top unbeaten.

Tandragee Rovers took control of the Final. Rangers tried to force their way back into the game but had to wait until there was four minutes remaining to equalise.

Eddie Tucker rolled a free kick to Lee Chapman who blasted his way through a host of bodies to make it 1-1. With just over a minute to go the winning goal was something special from Adam Wilson who unleashed a powerful first time drive into the top corner from distance.

A superb strike worthy of winning any Final and the locals lifted their second trophy of the day.

The final section up for grabs on the Saturday was the Under 14s with four teams playing each other for a place in the Final.

Banbridge Town and Banbridge Rangers finished in the top two places after seeing off the challenges of Tandragee Rovers and Moira.

The Final saw the neighbours from Crystal Park take control and raced into a 3-0 lead with Rangers only scoring a consolation goal late on.

The tournament was a huge success for Rangers with secretary Mark Wilson deserving of immense credit for organising the event.
