Oran named Manager of the Month

Oran Kearney has been named Manager of the Month for November by the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association.

Coleraine had a 100% record in the month of November, claiming league wins over Portadown, Warrenpoint Town, Carrick Rangers and Ballinamallard United. The Bannsiders also booked their place in the semi-finals of the JBE League Cup with 2-1 quarter-final victory over derby rivals Ballymena United.

A delighted Kearney said, “I’d like to thank the Football Writers for this award, it means a lot to me.

“I’d also like to thank the Coleraine board for the support they showed me last season during a difficult period for the team. It’s nice to be able to repay that faith with a good run of results.

“The players also deserve a lot of credit. They’ve been superb in recent weeks and this award recognises that success.”
