Jubilee Park this Saturday, July 20 from 12-3pm.

Jubilee Park is one of only 14 venues in Northern Ireland chosen this year to host the girl’s summer camp and the club’s committee is delighted to be part of this exciting day.

The day will be free to all girls aged between 6 and 16 years of age.

The Irish FA’s Women’s Football Department are holding one of only four IFA Festival Days nationwide at Jubilee Park this summer on Saturday August 17, 10.30am-2.30pm.

As part of the FIFA Women’s Football Development Programme, the festival day is aimed at increasing the number of girls that play football in Moneyslane and surrounding areas in County Down, in addition to helping raise the profile of the sport.

The festival day will run from 10.30am-2.30pm and involves skills drills, small-sided games, inflatables, competitions and music.

The Festival Day is free of charge and open to all girls aged between 6 - 16 years old. For an application form contact Jackie Blyth (Irish FA Women’s Football Assistant): [email protected].

Completed application forms must be returned to Jackie before the relevant closing date Friday August 2. But please note get your application form in early because the places are filling up fast.

All participants will also receive a FIFA t-shirt.

Northern Ireland Ladies internationals will also be in attendance at the event and they will take time out to take part in drills, sign autographs, pose for photographs and participate in Q and A sessions.

SLANE travel to Ballyclare in pre-season Friendly

Moneyslane’s first team will travel to Ballyclare on Saturday July 20 (3pm) against Ballyclare Comrades. This will be a big fixture for Slane and anyone looking to book a seat on the bus should contact Geoff Cochrane (07968 904720).
