Mum's the word for Margaret with Sports Bond jackpot win

LAST October the last agent to have a £1000 Jackpot win was Andrew Boyd of Kells with Stephen Millar of Cromkill.

This week Andrew created a bit of Sports Bond history with a back to back 1000 Jackpot win.

This time there was a bigger rejoicing in the Boyd household as the 1000 Jackpot winner was his mum, Margaret Boyd.

Margaret has been a member on Andrew’s agency since Sports Bond’s beginning and her Jackpot numbers have always been 1, 5, 12 and 16. Margaret also helps Andrew with the agency as he now lives in Ballyclare, so congratulations to Margaret and to Andrew who also picks up another 100 bonus as a Jackpot winning agent.

Our last minor this week was none other than Club Chairman Robert Cupples (A7000), Robert is a yearly payer, an area where we would like more members.

In the remaining 15 consolation section, Ian Montgomery (B8129) was a winner on P Thompson’s agency. Carol Tweed (A6346) won 15 on Geoff Cooke’s agency and David Creighton had a 15 winner with George Joseph (B9003).

FIRST SCORE

At Mourneview, the holder of the 14 minute ticket was Rodney McLaughlin. Rodney, also known as Raj to his friends, now matches his father Bobby as a winner this season.

In the Carling Cup first score the winning ticket was 5 minutes. So far only David Armstrong had the ticket, sold by brother Alan. As you are aware the 5 minute Carling score was a penalty that took some time to take. Brother Alan had a fourth minute ticket!!A real case of brotherly love.
