On a very lively pitch, Banbridge fell behind early on when the Dungoyne striker got behind the Town defence to give Toby Jones in the Town goal no chance with his shot.

Banbridge soon were getting to grips with the game and found themselves level when Taylor Hill’s free-kick found the top corner.

Banbridge’s midfield of Patrick McGrath, Owen Wilson and Taylor Hill were well on top.

This was allowing the Town’s attack of Josh Kerr and Harry Annett to cause problems.

Banbridge soon went ahead when Harry Annett poked the ball past the keeper and Josh Kerr sent it over the line to make it 2-1.

Banbridge soon went 3-1 ahead when Patrick McGrath’s pass found Josh Kerr who crashed a superb effort high into the net.

Banbridge’s defence of Lee Whitten, Senan Carr, Alex Innocenzi and Josh Noble were having fine games keeping the Dungoyne strikers at bay.

Near the end, Town nearly added number four after a superb run and cross by Ryan Meara found Annett who put the ball narrowly wide.

That leaves the Town U11s in the quarter finals of both the National League Cup and the Mid Ulster Cup.
