Lower Maze got themselves back in the game briefly as Davison benefitted from a through ball after Teggart was caught in possession and slide under Blevins to make it 2-1.

Jonny Porter was adamant that this set back wouldn’t spoil his day by regaining the two goal advantage for his team within 90 seconds of the restart. A 50 yard angled ball from Chrissy Chambers saw Porter beat the full back for pace and showed great composure to slot past the keeper for his hattrick.

Colin Cunningham got in on the goalscoring blitz with another goal of individual brilliance by winning the ball on the halfway line and riding five challenges before curling past the Lower Maze keeper from 20 yards.

A third goal in as little as four minutes arrived for Banbridge Rangers again through Jonny Porter who nonchalantly flicked a shot by Andy Mallen into the top corner to the bemusement of the the support.

At 5-1 and only 27 minutes gone the three league points were virtually in the bag. Neil Clydesdale struck the post at the very top corner from a free kick and Jerry Philip had a penalty claim turned away minutes after coming on for the injured Cunnnigham.

The Gers eventually made it 6-1 just before the break with Teggart playing Jonny Porter in behind the full back and Andy Mallen was on hand to tap in his low cross from five yards.

The second half was somewhat frustrating for Banbridge Rangers who really should have aimed to take the game into double figures but failed to keep the first half momentum on track.

Andy Mallen got his second goal of the game in the 65th Minute after a poor kick out from the Lower Maze keeper.

The last strike was scored by Stephen Teggart who recorded his first competitive goal for the club with a perfectly executed volley.
