BANBRIDGE RANGERS

The Gers face arguably their toughest league game of the season on Saturday as they travel to take on leaders Ballymacash Rangers, who are five points clear at the top.

The Banbridge side go into the game off the back of four straight wins and keen to avenge their 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture in October.

Zooming through their league season, the Villagers only have three Intermediate A fixtures left. They’ll be looking to go further clear of the bottom two with a win on Saturday but won’t have an easy task as they host second placed Camlough Rovers.

MONEYSLANE

After Saturday’s crippling defeat to Lurgan Town, Moneyslane must beat mid-table Laurelvale this weekend if they’re to hold out any hopes of going up to the Mid-Ulster League’s top division this season.

BANBRIDGE YCOB

The locals begin their John Magee Memorial Trophy campaign with a trip to Southside (kick-off 2pm). The hosts are eight points below YCOB in the Division Four table but will be hoping that won’t show in this round one match.

SCARVA RANGERS

Scarva must just want this season to be over now. They host Red Star still hoping for their first point of the Division One season.

The Cloney can lift themelves off the bottom of Division Four with a win at Mowhan United. They lost the reverse fixture 4-3 earlier in the season in a thrilling game. Even a boring 1-0 win would do the trick for Cloney this time out.
