Hosts Craigavon City pegged them back to 4-3 before McCammon weighed in with his second goal of the game, a fine left footed strike that the home keeper was unable to stop.

Once again the hosts reduced the arrears to a single goal, leaving Scarva to face an anxious finale but they held on to secure this important league win.

Scarva’s reserve side lost 1-0 to Portadown BBOB Reserves in the O’Hara Cup on Saturday. An under strength side played with great character against opponents from the division above them and were unlucky not to force extra time despite being reduced to 10 men for most of the second half. Best for the reserves was Noel Hamilton and Phillip Magill.
