Excellent football in a real cracker of a match

Banbridge began strongest playing good flowing football and took the lead after just six minutes when leading goalscorer Josh Cargin scored with a hard low shot from 18 yards out and Josh Buchanan doubled the lead with a left foot drive from a Josh Cargin corner.

Sunnyside got one back after 25 minutes with a well worked goal from the left hand side and a few minutes before half time they equalised from close range after keeper William Maxwell had parried the initial shot.

In the second half it was very even until Gareth Orr scored a briiliant free kick from 25 yards that hit the inside of the post giving the keeper no chance.

Sunnyside came back strongly but were denied twice by two goal line clearances from Niall McCreanor and Declan Loy.

With 15 minutes to go Josh Cargin made it 4-2 when he hit a strong right foot shot after he was put through by a lovely ball from Declan Loy.

Banbridge looked comfortable at this point but Sunnyside refused to give up and got one back with 10 minutes to go and then equalised with less than two minutes on the clock to share the points.
