Early goal leaves U15s to battle it out

Banbridge Juniors U15s travelled to Hillsborough to face Lower Maze.

The Juniors were unlucky to find themselves 1-0 down on three minutes.

A top drawer save from keeper Conor Ward kept Maze out. The Juniors did start to play some football of their own. Caleb Schiess broke through only to be denied by the keeper, and Liam Farrell went close.

In the second half the Juniors kept getting more of the ball.

Strong defending from both sides ensured the game remained 1-0 in Maze’s favour, with both keepers being called into action on more than one occasion.

Man of the match was keeper Conor Ward for a commanding performance in the Juniors goal.
