Dromore enjoy the long trip to Coleraine

A great ball over by Amy-Louise Graham was met by the head of Amanda Morton eight yards out who lobbed the onrushing keeper.

What proved to be a weakness for Dromore throughout the match led to Coleraine’s equaliser shortly after as a free kick over the top wasn’t dealt with which left the striker with a finish which just crept past Michelle Stephens.

It got worse for Dromore as another free kick gave Coleraine the lead, a free from the right side of the box was hit into the far top corner leaving Michelle with no chance.

With just 18 minutes played it was now 2-2 as after some good build up play by Debbie Douglas and Amy-Louise Graham who were both in great form played in Toni Smith out left who slotted into the bottom corner.

Dromore continued to pressurise Coleraine with numerous chances going begging. They finally got their third goal with just one minute to half time Amanda Morton got her second of the game with a well placed shot from outside of the area.

With just four minutes gone in the second half Dromore extended their lead. A corner in by Amy-Louise Graham was met by Jill Bruce who rolled it over the line.

Just two minutes later Toni Smith had the perfect chance to double her tally for the night only to put a free header over with the keeper nowhere nearby.

With 58 minutes gone Coleraine got back into the game as they scored their third from another free kick from wide to the left.

Amanda Morton completed her hat trick soon after to secure the game however after a great ball over by Jill Bruce.

The result itself moved Dromore up two places above Limavady and Derry City whilst also relegating Coleraine who are yet to register a point this season. There was another great performance by Amanda Morton with special mentions to Jill Bruce and Deborah Douglas meant Dromore got the points needed despite missing a number of key players.
