A super night was had by all at the Dromara Village Football Club awards and BBQ on Saturday.
Malcolm Hanna said: “The club was buzzing with a good crowd in attendance.
“A big thank you to all those who supported the night.
“The banter and dance moves were in full flow and a thank you to John, Barbara and Emma for organising the BBQ.
“While disappointed that the firsts got relegated, we will be doubly determined to bounce back next season, learn from our mistakes and keep improving our young squad of players.
“A big well done to Shuggy and the Reserves on their promotion and to Sharpe and his boys on another top four finish.
“By showing the same togetherness as last night I’m sure next season will be a successful one both on and off the park.
“Well done to all award winners, all of which were fully deserved and a thank you to club legend Bazil aka Zico for giving them out.”
A cheque was also given to Kyle Hamilton following a table quiz fundraiser to help with his recovery from a bad leg break suffered against Orangefield.
Award winners in the Firsts were - Managers Player - Philly Kerr and Jonny Gregg, Players Player - Jonny Gregg, Supporters Player - Jonny Gregg, Young Player - Adam McDonald, Top Goalscorer - Philly Kerr, Goal of the Season - Philly Kerr - Left Foot Volley against Barn Utd. Although you could have picked from another five or six.
Reserves were Managers Player - Gareth Hill,️Players Player - Jordan Clarke, Top Goalscorer - Jonny Clements.
Thirds were Managers Player - Niall Fleming,️Players Player - Niall Fleming, Top Scorer - Roy Carmichael, Clubman of The Year - Mal Hanna.
Malcolm said: “As we celebrate 40 years of existence, we have launched our superb 40th Anniversary Draw with lots of fantastic prizes up for grabs.
