CONOR Downey and Chris McGrath have been put on the stand-by list for the Northern Ireland junior squad.
The Banbridge Town players have been included by boss Harry McConkey after standing out in an otherwise poor season for the club.
Downey tweeted: “Got a wee phonecall today from the Junior International Manager to say he wants to put me in the 30 man squad. Absolutely made up.
“Very doubtful I will get a call-up for the up-coming tournament but to have my name in the frame is unreal. Keep producing the goods @ #BTFC.”
