Rathfriland drew level through a free kick but Adam was getting good room down the left and sent in a terrific shot that beat the keeper but hit the post. Magill slotted the ball home to make it 2-1 and restore Dromore’s lead.

Euan then latched onto a great kick from Josh but was blocked from shooting. He was able to pass back to Adam who finished nicely. Rathfrilandthen made it 3-2 just before the break.

In the second half, Dromore scored four in the space of five minutes with a master class. Straight from kick off, Rathfriland were carved open. A great cross from Magill was met by Adam who buried the ball. Adam then provided a good chance at the back post for Magill to convert.

The goal of the season came next from Briggs who, from 35 yards out, hit a sweet shot. All players, coaches and parents where amazed as the ball went into the top corner with the keeper truly beaten.

Nathan, who was up for a corner, received a great pass back in the box and cushioned a fine header for Jack to score in the box.

Jack then turned provider to Karl who hit a stinging shot, which hit the back of the goal and flew back out. Jack also set up the last goal, pushing it outside to Magill, whose hat0trick goal was the best of the lot.

Philip, Ben, Morgan, Jason and Joel were solid at the back and added steel to a strong Dromore result.
