Cup fever grips the Moneyslane community

As well as potential Cup glory, the Reserves are still in with a chance of promotion with just three league games left to play.

Moneyslane FC Supporters are the 12th man at the family football club.

They provide an atmosphere to thrive in, giving the Moneyslane players that motivation to go the extra mile.

The Moneyslane FC Committee fully appreciate and lay testament to the importance of their supporters and the crucial role they play in the success of the club.

The determined players have given everyone the glitz and glamour of a cup final, semi final and chance of promotion, to look forward to but the Blue and White Army can never be accused of being glory hunters.

In fact the club was formed in 1983 and didn’t reach their first cup final until 2009, over a quarter of a century after being formed and went on to win their first cup final, the Beckett Cup the following year in 2010.

That’s why the club really enjoys when the good times of cup runs and league runs come along and enjoy them to the max because they have also had the barren years.

The BAWA have followed their beloved team in amazing numbers both home and away through the good times and the bad times .

They are really excited about this Thursday’s Cup Final with a massive travelling support heading to Portadown.

Moneyslane FC supporters are the salt of the football earth, both Loud & Proud, magnanimous in victory and gracious in defeat.

Through thick and thin the BAWA are a source of strength and inspiration for the players to draw on and spur them on to hit new heights.

The BAWA’s unabated positivity has been the common denominator, from the youngest to the oldest all equally important and valued within the Moneyslane Family.

There is an amazing buzz of anticipation throughout the club with the massive semi final at Jubilee Park this Wednesday and eagerly awaited final this Thursday evening.

Staying in cup competitions to the latter stages and with true grit giving themselves a chance of still winning promotions and even leagues come the business end of the season is so exciting for the fans.
