COLTS GALLOP TO THE TITLE

Rathfriland Colts have won the Newcastle and District League McCalls Division Three title.

With one game remaining, they have secured the league despite losing out to Ballynahinch on Saturday. With other results going their way, it was jubilation and ecstasy for Robbie Keown’s boys who have been brilliant all season long. With still one game remaining away to Ballyvea, it looks as though they will win it at a canter.

All roads lead to Iveagh Park this weekend with the now traditional Sponsors Day taking place at the club in the run up to the important NAFL Division 1A league tie between Rathfriland Rangers and Lisburn Rangers.

All sponsors are asked to meet at 12noon with lunch being served prior to kick off. This is a massive day in the life of Rathfriland FC where the club in some small way gives something back in recognition to all those who have supported the club in many ways over the last year. Rangers are on a great run of form at the moment sitting top of the league and hopefully the football will match the pre match festivities resulting in another fabulous and memorable day in the life of Rathfriland FC.

MATCHBALL SPONSOR

A massive thank-you to Stephen Wilton who is sponsoring the match ball for Saturday`s Rathfriland FC Sponsors Day Division 1A league clash against Lisburn Rangers at Iveagh Park.
