Banbridge Rangers will take on Rathfriland Rangers at Cheney Park (kick-off 8pm) to play for the pre-season trophy.

Rathfriland got through to the decider via a 5-1 thrashing of Seapatrick in the semi-final thanks to goals from Lee Feeney, Darren McGrath, Michael Green, James Costello and Aaron Megaw.

That was on Monday and on Tuesday evening, it was a case of ‘anything you can do’ as Banbridge Rangers took no prisoners in a 9-0 thrashing of Gilford Crusaders. Andy Mallen grabbed a hat-trick of first-class strikes while Jeff Brady bagged two and Stephen Teggart, Adam Beattie, William Frazer and Neil Clydesdale all got on the score-sheet.
