Final call made for Award nominees

Banbridge District Council and Banbridge District Sports Association wish to remind all local sports clubs and sports people that the deadline for submitting completed nomination forms for the Banbridge District Junior Sports Awards for July 2013 – June 2014 is 5.00pm on Friday June 20.

If you know of any individual or group of individuals aged 17 and under that you think deserves an award for excelling in their chosen sport, this is your chance to tell us about them and their achievements.

There are five award categories; Female Youth, Male Youth, Junior Team (under 12), Youth Team (12 and over) and Special Olympic Athletes.

Nominations forms are available from several local outlets, including Banbridge District Council Civic Building, Banbridge Leisure Centre, Dromore Community Centre, Gilford Community Centre, Rathfriland Community Centre, and Donaghy’s Shoefair Sports, Banbridge.

The nomination form can also be downloaded from the Banbridge District Council website at www.banbridge.gov.uk.
