Excellent results for Banbridge Ladies

On Wednesday August 4 they played Hollywood at home in the Wingrave Cup and won 78-55.

Rink 1: C McDermott, A Donald, E Whyte, M Martin.

Rink 2: L Byrne, H Wilkinson, M Adams, M Finnegan.

Rink 3: H Shepherd, R McAdam, M Jardine, M Campbell.

Rink 4: R McGivern, E Smyth, H Steenson, M Ewart.

The next day they played Gilnahirk at home in the league and secured seven points.

Rink 1: C McDermott, A Donald, E Whyte, M Martin - won 2-9.

Rink 2: L Byrne, L Frost, H Wilkinson M Adams - won 15-9.

Rink 3: H Shepherd, R Gourley, R McAdam, M Campbell - won 31-9.

Rink 4: R McGivern, E Smyth, H Steenson, M Ewart - won 17-12.75.

Overall score: 84-39.75.

Another league match was played at home on Thursday August 12 against Antrim Lawn and six points were won.

Rink 1: C McDermott, A Donald, E Whyte, M Martin - won 23-10.

Rink 2: E Smyth, H Steenson, M Ewart - won 16.5-3.75.

Rink 3: H Shepherd, R Gourley, R McAdam, M Campbell - won 18-15.

Rink 4: R McGivern, L Byrne, H Wilkinson, M Adams - lost 8-28.

Overall score - 65.5-56.75.

On Wednesday August 18 the team play Dungannon at Hollywood Bowling Club in the semi-final of the Wingrave Cup.

The following day it's back to Holywood to play in the Leauge.
