The full schedule was released by the EHL yesterday (Monday) and is subject to change for television.

Bann, of course, will have their own Olympian Eugene Magee on the pitch and will come up against two other players fresh from Rio in Royal Leopold’s Elliot van Strydonck (Belgium) and Glenn Turner, the Australian sharp-shooter.

In Pool A, Holcombe will bring as many as seven players from Great Britain’s Olympic panel while another notable star coming to Havelock will be Irish keeper David Harte, who plays alongside Dutch stars Robbert Kemperman and Sander de Wijn for reigning champions SV Kampong.

Make sure you keep up to date with Eugene Magee’s preparations for the Olympics by keeping your eye on the Leader over the next few weeks.
