Eamon hits a purple patch to ease to double delight at Bann

After winning the Sunday Sweep, Eamon also went on to win the Thursday Open.

On Sunday, he scored a nett 30 to ease past John Crothers and Ashton Clydesdale (both nett 32) and Norman Robb (nett 33).

Kenny Stevenson hit the shot of the day when he had a hole in one at the eighth.

Brian Knox had the only two on the day and he too went home with a smile on his face.

On Thursday, Eamon played very steady golf again for a winning score of 40 points.

Philip Mallon (10) was second with 39 points. Philip had one foot on the winner’s podium but an ugly double bogey six at the 17th hole relegated him to second place.

Jack McKerr (9) finished his round with eight straight pars to take third place with 38 points.

Scott Nelson (5) had a dream start to his round with four birdies in his first 7 holes. He went on to win the best gross with a 73.

Robert Barnes (16) was unlucky to go home empty-handed after shooting 38 points.
