Dromore U11s held by Tullyvallen

DROMORE welcomed Tullyvallen to the Leisure Centre for the first time.

As they only had eight players Matthew Thompson played up front for the visitors and played some nice passing moves.

Dromore had the better of the first half. Ben who had started well headed the ball to Adam in the box who headed home. Euan then had an effort that went over the bar.

Dromore had five corners in a row; they got heads on each one but with none troubling the keeper.

The second came from Nathan, who had time and space and with Euan shouting hit it, buried the ball in the goal with a fierce shot.

The third came from a neat pass from Adam to Matthew Magill who did well to score.

Just before half time Tulleyvallen scored twice from a similar move. A corner from the right and a near post header hitting the back of the net.

Dromore were very disappointed letting two goals in late on in the first half. John did well to manage the situation and get the team’s attitude right. Dromore played well with nice passing movements and Philip had a couple of good free kicks, one that hit the upright.

It was then Morgan’s turn to hit the plastic work with a spectacular over head kick, unfortunately no Dromore players followed in to put the ball over the line.

Tulleyvallen finished the second half well, with Joel with an amazing goal line clearance, with great agility. However, Joel could not do anything with Tulleyvallen’s strikers shot which fizzed into the back of the net. Matthew Magill and Adam both had chances to score but the game ended in a draw.

The next game is a quarter final cup tie against Dungannon Youth at the Leisure Centre, kick off 11am. Please come and support.
