Dromore travel to Gilnahirk
DROMORE Ladies made the journey to Gilnahirk on Thursday last to continue their league programme after the short summer break.
A difficult game was anticipated as Gilnahirk had participated as a senior club last season.
However Dromore Ladies did not allow the previous status of their opponents to intimidate them and good steady bowling ensured victory by 22 shots and 4.5 league points.
The following ladies represented Dromore:
Rink 1: A McGarrity, K Pailor, M Dawson, L Aiken.
Rink 2: I Hamilton, L Gribben, M Ward, C Ogle.
The next match will be on Wednesday July 26 at Holm Park when Castle Park will be the opponents in a Mary Moore round one cup-tie.
