Dromore hold out for final Nutty Krust victory

Dromore surived a Rainey Old Boys come back to retain the Nutty Krust Undcer-18 title in Portadown last night by a 24-21 margin.

Tries from Joshua Brame, Michael Watson and Simon Henshaw, all converted by outhalf Aaron Atkinson, had Dromore 24-0 ahead.

Rainey pulled a score back just before the break with Neil Hastings crossing and Lorcan Quinn converting.

The second half saw Rainey stage a comeback with talented tighthead prop, Calum Smyth going over twice. Conversions by Quinn brought them within three points.

Rainey dominated those closing stages but Dromore defended stoutly to take the spoils.
