Over 145 cyclists set off on an 85 mile cycle from Portadown to Newcastle and back on Saturday the 22nd, all raising funds for NICHS.

The Club had six members attending this and they all completed the challenging route with over 3,300 feet of climbing going around the coast from Warrenpoint to Newcastle and back through Castwellan towards Banbridge and Portadown.

A great event and thanks from all at DCC to Portadown CC.

On Sunday, six Dromore CC members braved torrential rains from early in the morning to turn up at Banbridge for the TVR 100k Charity Sportive.

Conditions improved after the first few miles, however, and the challenging route went up Rathriland Hill, Hilltown, down to Newcastle and then along the coast to Dundrum before heading inland again to Dromara and onto Banbridge.

A great spread of food was laid on by the TVR team and the event was well run by their squad of marshals and organisers – thanks from the DCC members.
