Bann thrashed Kilkeel 12-3 in the Irish Senior Cup first round at Havelock on Saturday.
Stevie Dowds got six in total. He opened the scoring with two drag flicks. Shortly after, Matthew Bell scored from a short corner variation. Frazier Mills got the fourth with a strong open sided shot but with four minutes to half-time, Kilkeel get one back with a drag flick in off the post.
The second half started lively as Dane Ward scored with his first touch back from injury.
Stevie Dowds got two more in quick succession with a reverse shot to make it 6-1 and again scores at the back post after Jamie Wright did the hard work. Kilkeel got another back after a misplaced pass from the Banbridge defence.
Wright got in on the action with a composed finish at the back post, to make it 8-2. He then followed it up with his second linking up with Frazer Mills.
Neil Gilmore also got his name on the score-sheet to make it 10-2. Kilkeel scored again with a short corner variation but the day was finished with two more drag flicks from Dowds.
