Development squad play in finals day

THE under 15’s development team travelled the short distance to Lisnagarvey to play in a finals day.

They were in section A and played Knock and drew 0-0, Raphoe (draw 0-0), Randalstown B (draw 0-0), Saintfield B (won 2-0 with Alex Taylor scoring both goals).

This meant that they had come top of our section and had to play Randalstown A in the semi final, the girls all played brilliantly but unfortunately Randlestown scored, but Dromore fought hard to try to score with some near misses from Alex Taylor and Alex Patterson.

Well done to goalie Emma Warnock who only let one goal in five matches, a fantastic record.

Player of the match was Emimear Cunningham for her fantastic workrate in midfield. Shannon Elliott, Alex Taylor, Alex Patterson, Gemma Kirk, Rachel Nelson and Kirsty Wilson.
