A crit is a fast and furious sprint race around a short circuit, which is excellent for spectators as the competitors complete many laps usually set for a period of time with prize sprint laps during the race.

Three races will be accommodated for, including an over 50’s and ladies race, an A3 race, the final and main race of the evening will see the A1 and A2 riders take to the streets.

The circuit is a fully closed 1km town centre circuit, starting and finishing on Banbridge’s main Newry Street above the well-known ‘Cut’ with fast open sections, fast sweeping corners and a drag that, at first, may not appear too vicious but will certainly become a significant section of the circuit when the pressure is on.

Pre-entry is not required for the races with entries being accepted on the night.

Sign-on for all races will open from 6pm on Kenlis Street and will close approximately 20 minutes before the start of each race.

Please check out the Banbridge Cycling Club website for more sign on details - www.banbridgecc.com.

Approximate start times of the races are as follows;
